As you are well aware, deadly tropical cyclone HUDHUD with destructive winds of over 200 KMPH made landfall near Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh and ripped the roofs off of homes, uprooted trees and brought down power lines in our state. While some members of the community were blessed to have their homes and personal property spared, many members of Andhra Pradesh State suffered crippling losses from the storm.

All of the businesses were forced to close their doors and many lost some or their entire inventory in the aftermath of the storm. The total cost to the local economy is still being calculated and many experts suspect that the total impact will run into thousands of crores.

Though local businesses and infrastructure have been critically damaged, the residents of four vital districts of our state have shouldered the heaviest toll. The foundations of houses in several towns were critically damaged from the rising waters. Fallen limbs and trees smashed vehicles including cars, two wheelers and roofs all across state.

We are thankful for the many organizations and charities from across the country have pledged their support to our community, however our fellow brethren in need require assistance NOW. Our Organization NATS is a local 501(c) (3) charity and has always been able to help quickly where needed.

With your help, Our Organization can feed families who have lost everything in the aftermath of the storm, give them a warm place to stay and help rebuild the landmarks that make our state such an amazing place to live.NATS board has decided to contribute five lakh rupees (Rs.5,00,000) as first installment towards the CM relief fund.

• A donation of $25 dollars will help provide emergency meals, blankets and shelter to a family displaced from the storm.
• A donation of $100 dollars will ensure that 4 local families will have a safe place to stay and provide meals for three days.
• A donation of $500 dollars will help repair the houses to provide shelter and rebuild the infrastructure of our state now.

Any amount you decide to donate will be very much appreciated and will make a huge difference in the lives of our fellow Telugu’s whose lives have been upended. Together, we can restore of our state to the place that we all know and love. The funds in their entirety will be donated to our state of Andhra Pradesh.
